With this first post on the subject I will use the example that seems to be getting the most press right now because of that abomination of a movie, Noah's Ark. This group claims that the flood killed millions of innocent people who did nothing wrong, including all of the children, just to punish the wicked. The argument states that it was neither merciful or just.to bring the universal flood.
I believe that the kindest act our God could have done was bring down the flood especially for the children. To some this might seem like a shocking statement, but let me state my case. The world at this time is described as filled with violence. The children were growing up in a society devoid of moral control, and it was a danger to everybody. By taking the children while they were young God removed them from pure evil and violence and received them in his loving arms. Not to mention saving countless generations of future souls that did not have to endure the horrors of living in and being raised by the pre-flood peoples.
